Glow Stick shoot Evauation
Image Number: IMG_1105.JPG
Shutter Speed: 15 Seconds
All these photos was taken as a group effort, we all thought
of the ideals and helped each other out. I really enjoyed this I thought it was
a lot of fun and really interesting to do and you didn’t know what the image
would turn out like until the time was up. It was hard at first because sometimes
you could get nothing at all in your photo It would just be black but others
turned out amazing. Its just finding the right time and how slow or fast to
love the glow stick so you could capture the movement.
This one I moved the glow sticks white Arletta stud there
and Trafford was taking the photo we tried to give her wings which I think
turned out really well I think that this is definitely one of our better
photos. I think to improve this photo we
could make it more centre or we could just crop it to take out the which sheet in the back.

This is one that myself and Arletta did together we both did
a letter each to make HI and it looks like it is moving of the screen which I think
improves the photo a lot. You can see us slightly in the background which I think
is also good because we don’t stand out too much it’s just right so that you
can see us slightly.

Shutter Speed: 15 seconds
I think this is a really good photo we got one of the tutors
to press the camera while Trafford drew around me and Arletta you can only see
Arletta arms which almost gives it an Alien which I think makes it a lot more interesting
to look at. You can see me a little
which I think sort of ruins the alien idea but do make it seem more mysterious
in some ways

Shutter Speed: 15 Seconds
Again this is myself or Trafford drawing around Arletta with
a glow stick but the image isn’t dark enough so I think you can see too much of
a background. There was people using touches in the room so I think that this ruined
some of our photos, I think that the outline is good but overall I do not like
this image it is too bright and I think this changes the effect a lot.

Shutter Speed: 15 Seconds
This is me moving the glow stick in the same pattern over
and over again this is simple but very effect and I thought it would be nice to
do because all the other photos was different and compacted so I thought I would
do something simple and sweet. I really like all the colours in the photo but
again I think it would be so much better if it was darker again and didn’t have
light coming from other places.

Final Evaluation of my final images
Final Evaluation of my book covers
My first book cover is for cubism. I have
photographed a dream catcher from lots of different angles and then put them
all together to give it a 3D effect but with all 2D images. Also all of my
images are shaped in a square/cube way. I have also drawn out little 3D cube
boxes and put the letters inside to spell out Cubism. I have coloured these
boxes in bright colours so that my book cover jumps out more because my dream
catcher colours are all very dull and natural colours so they don’t really jump
out.
I really do like this book cover
because it is different, simple but effective, it fits in really well with my
subject and relates though out the cover. The Pain part of my book cover is the
dream catcher is takes up most of the page and is simper to other pieces of art
work I have seen relating to cubism.
I think to improve my cover I could
take more photographs from different angles and depths so that when I put them
together they made more of a 3D image.
For my Futurism photo I have photograph
my boyfriend playing rugby and then doubled up the image and faded it so you
can see the movement, more which helps it relate to futurism as futurism is
about movement and speed. For my titles I have used different font for every
letter to help show that futurism is about change and development as well as
speed and doing things that people wouldn’t normally think about.
I have also made the background black
and which and the main focus of my image which is the man running in colour so
that you can focus on what you need to see and not get distracted as much by the
things around you.
I think to improve this book
cover I could as a quotes or something extra to my page so it isn’t so simple I
don’t think that it is bad the way it is at the moment but if I had more time I
couldn’t definitely makes some more improvement
to this page.

Bit of eveything
These are some of my editied photos so that you can see how my work has changed and devloped over time.
How to make your images look more cubist effect screen shots
|
I opened up one of my images that I wanted to edit. And
selected the part I wanted to change.
|
|
Then I go to the right bottom bit press control J so it
copies a new layer. Then I press the little f at the bottom of the page.
|
|
Then you change the colour to black. Then change the blend
mode to inner glow and move everything until your happy with your box.
|
How to resize a photo screen shot
|
You need to open up photo shop and go on File, Open and
select all your images you are using. They will then open up on separate pages
at the top.
|

Then you need to go on image resize
