My Juxtaposition Shoot And Evaluation

For this task we was looking at Juxtaposition and communication though images, i found this task fun but challenging and you really had to think about what you was photographing and if it was going to work and also fit in with the overall project brief.

I think that as an overall shoot, they could be many improvements but i do think this is very good for a first try and with the amount of time i had to complete this shoot and i think that it would be so much better if it was in a different city like Leeds or even London, but i think if i went into Bradford city centre i could get some better ones and more variety of buildings and have more ideas.

This is my final photograph from my first shoot for Juxtaposition. I think that is works so well because I think something so natural 'the tree'  looks so out of place when the building is technically the one that is in the wrong place. ''The wrong place at the wrong time.''
It was a really dull day and i think this photograph would be so much better if the sun was behind the building almost lighting it up making it look more vibrant and pretty.
I think that if i was to get a bit closer to the building and the tree and less of the side street so you had nothing to distract you in the background.
I think this photograph could be better after I have edited it on Photoshop to make it more interesting to look at and to help it be more vibrant.

On the left is my original photograph and then on the right is the one i have edited on Photoshop and i have noted down what i have edited and changed.
Brightness: 47
Contrast: -12
Vibrant: +37
Saturation: +32
Curves Input: 202 Output: 145
Gamma Correction: 1.22

I think that my edit one is so much better because it is vibrant and bright and makes it feel so much warmer and like a happier photograph which i think makes it more interesting to look at. I dont think i have over edited it so it still looks very natural just more bright because it was a very dull day and that impacted and effected your photos.
