Overall Evaluation Of My Holiday Photographs
Most of my photograph were taken on my phone because i was taking them on the go, when i was out with friends, and i didn't really plan my photos so i didn't bring my camera, i do have a thew that were taken on a camera, my last post of my friends and myself, were taken on a camera at new years eve.
Also 9 out of 10 of my photos were edited on my phone or laptop using an app, to make them look a bit better and more interesting. I think that editing photos and ruin them just as much as improve them because it can change the light and make it unnatural and very unprofessional, but i didn't mind so much with these photos because it was an holiday project and i think it would make it more fun to edit them.
With my inertia photos, i think that editing them has changed the light and make it appear orange which i think makes the photos feel a lot warmer which i think relates well with the christmas homie holiday feeling.
i found it hard to take a different photo everyday, because some days i just sat in my house all day doing nothing and i wanted my photos to be different everyday and interesting so that people don't get bored.
I did take some photos outside when i went to the hospital or went out most of them was of my boyfriend, i did one of him at the bus stop which i didn't edit much so still looks really natural but i also did of him in leeds stood next to a lion, which i made black and white, to make it jump out more and give it more contrast.
I did a few different locations, indoor and outdoor, i did some in the hospital while we was waiting to be seen and one of the doctor talking about an x-ray which i thought was really interesting to look at. I did some at home in my room, while i was getting ready, and some in my living room on christmas day, i think i have a wide range of locations but i do think that some could be more clear and show the location more.
Overall i thought that this overall task was very fun and interesting to do, it was really open to interpretation so you could do pretty much whatever you wanted which made it a lot more fun and less stressful.
