23rd to 27th December! Lots of fun!!

These photos are covering a few different days the one with me with the Christmas hat on it Christmas Day taking a selfi with my boyfriend. The one up from that is my my kitten she is called Jess and is a proper little cutie. Then there is my brother kissing his blow up girlfriend that I got him for Christmas for a laugh. Then there is me and terry at ice skating Whitch I am terrible at and fell loads and the other one is us in the car on outer way to ice skating! This was the day before Christmas.

These photos are taken on the way to Terry's my boyfriends hospital apartment in Leeds for his broken leg which you can see in the photo of the x-Ray that I had to take on the sly because I wasn't supposed to take photos.

Documentary Task 1a

I have done this one for documentary, because even know a lot of people have photographed this building there is going to be a point in time where no one will remember this building and they will see photos of it like we do with older buildings.
I have used my object to make it look like i am drawing the writing on the machine that is knocking it down. This was taken on 2 different days so the lighting was different but it is natural light so its a lot harder to control.
Maybe to improve this work i would take them both at the same distance so that you can see it mach more and so you are closer to the writing.
This photo was taken right outside my college building (old building) so i see this every single day when i walk to and from collage i think this would of been interesting for me to take lots of photos of some of the building falling down, so that i could make it appear like i was knocking it down with my pen.

Art Outside Task 1a

This is one of my photos that i have taken outside, i found it harder to find things to photograph outside to i don't have as many images, theses photo are both taken from different angles which i don't think matters too much with this photo. I am using my pen to try and give the appearance that i am drawing, but it docent look very good to be honest, again this would be so much better if i was to take multiple photos of me moving and pretending to draw bits to you could see what i was trying to do.
 i like this photo because it is so vibrant and brights and really jumps out to you. I would probably use a tripod next time so i didn't have to focus on taking the photos and holding the camera still and then drawing around the art, and so when i put all my photos together the only thing that should change is the lighting and the movement of my pen. 

Task 1a Travel

This is my photo of travel i did this inside because of thought it would be different from everyone Else's who was photographing trains or cars. Again i think this photo could be improved a lot, with photo shop to add more contrast, such as more shadows and depth to my photograph, and make it more interesting to look at. I have photographed a lift opening and then me pressing the button with my chosen object (pen). I think maybe if someone was talking out of the lift it would improve them photos and if i tuck a series of the so that you could see the lift moving. 
I think to improve this photo i could also take it from the bottom of the stairs so that i got a better shot of the lift so you could see the whole thing and maybe make it not as close and in your face because looking back at the photo it feels very squished and rushed. In future i would take more time and think about my surroundings and the photo i am going to take instead of just taking a photo and settling with it.

Fashion Task 1a

This a photo to represent fashion, because you can see my clothing and my shoes, then in my second photo it appears like i have dropped my pen on the floor so it looks like i haven't just put a pen in the middle of a random photograph. I really like this photo because i think it is clear and that the lighting was good even know it was artificial as we was photographing around college.
If i was going to improve this image i would have more of a neutral background because i think that this would improve my overall image a lot and stop you from getting distracted and make the pen stand out more.
Again this photo was taken around college so while i was about to walk down the stairs i guess if i took the photo from thither up and got the stairs in i could have use it to represent travel as well as fashion, i think this may improve my photo a lot. 

Art Task 1a

This is the photograph that i have decided to use to represent art. Because i think that it is very artistic, creative and interesting to look at, this photo is weird and wonderful before i added my object into it which was the (Pen). To improve my image i would maybe take my photo more clear and from a different angle.
This photograph was taken around college (Bradford College) , in future i would probably use something more creative and artists instead of a photo of a photo, so that it fits more with what i am trying to represent.
If i was going to photograph this again i would probably take it out of the glass so that i didn't get a shine or a reflection. I would also lay in flat on a table so that i could get a better even overall photo of it, because it was high on the wall. 

location and object Task 1B

This was our first task and we had to go out and photograph locations that i could put my object in which was a pen. This task was difficult because it was hard trying to find locations that fit with my object and it was even harder that i photographed my locations before i knew i had to include an object. If i was going to do this again i would pick my bject first and them make me location fit with my object so it wasnt so hard to bring them together and retake the photo.

For this shoot we had to go around to indoor and outdoor location and photograph them normal and then include our object that we had chosen A chose a pen, so I have to involve my pen in my locations which I found really difficult definitely with my outdoor location it's was hard trying to make them fit and involve them in my photograph.

For this project our overall brief was movement, we was focusing on different ways we can show and represent movement in a photograph.

When doing this we had to explore loads of different ways we could show movement using settings in the camera, such as shutter speed, aperture and we even experimented with film cameras.

We was using the film cameras on the trip and i found them really difficult to use because i wasn't sure how to how movement or even if any of my photos was going to work, plus it was really difficult to find interesting and unique things to photograph.  

We also did a shoot in the studio where we had to photograph movement using glow sticks and torches, this was really fun and really interesting to see how they photos worked and to experiment with the movement and using our cameras.

We have also done a lot of work in the dark room near the end of the project to develop the photos from out negatives, its amazing to see your photos develop and have fun doing all the work, instead of just plugging your camera into the laptop or just printing them out. You had to do it all, from framing the photo to getting the focus right.

I thought that overall this project was definitely one of the most interesting ones so far and that i would take a lot of what i have leaned away with me and even try to do some of it at home because the outcomes are really interesting and you get so much inspiration from your work.

All these photos was taken as a group effort, we all thought of the ideals and helped each other out. I really enjoyed this I thought it was a lot of fun and really interesting to do and you didn’t know what the image would turn out like until the time was up. It was hard at first because sometimes you could get nothing at all in your photo It would just be black but others turned out amazing. Its just finding the right time and how slow or fast to love the glow stick so you could capture the movement.

This one I moved the glow sticks white Arletta stud there and Trafford was taking the photo we tried to give her wings which I think turned out really well I think that this is definitely one of our better photos.  I think to improve this photo we could make it more centre or we could just crop it  to take out the which sheet in the back.

This is one that myself and Arletta did together we both did a letter each to make HI and it looks like it is moving of the screen which I think improves the photo a lot. You can see us slightly in the background which I think is also good because we don’t stand out too much it’s just right so that you can see us slightly.

I think this is a really good photo we got one of the tutors to press the camera while Trafford drew around me and Arletta you can only see Arletta arms which almost gives it an Alien which I think makes it a lot more interesting to look at.  You can see me a little which I think sort of ruins the alien idea but do make it seem more mysterious in some ways

Again this is myself or Trafford drawing around Arletta with a glow stick but the image isn’t dark enough so I think you can see too much of a background. There was people using touches in the room so I think that this ruined some of our photos, I think that the outline is good but overall I do not like this image it is too bright and I think this changes the effect a lot.

This is me moving the glow stick in the same pattern over and over again this is simple but very effect and I thought it would be nice to do because all the other photos was different and compacted so I thought I would do something simple and sweet. I really like all the colours in the photo but again I think it would be so much better if it was darker again and didn’t have light coming from other places.
